International Relations of EGEDA

EGEDA has relations with the different international associations and collection societies with the aim of ensuring management of royalties due to the producers in other countries, as well as defending and promoting audiovisual production.

EGEDA is present (as a main sponsor or guest) every year in many international film festivals and markets such as the American Film Market (AFM) in Los Angeles, the National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE), the Los Angeles Latino Film Festival (LALIFF), the Chicago Latino Film Festival, the Cannes Film Festival, the San Sebastian Film Festival, the Malaga International Film Festival, La Mirada Film Festival in Melbourne, Australia, the Guadalajara Film Festival (Mexico), the Pantalla Pinamar (Argentina), and international short film festivals like the Clermont-Ferrand Festival.

EGEDA has strong relationships with associations such as MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) and its members, the Studios, the PGA (Producers Guild of America), the SAG (Screen Actors Guild), the DGA (Directors Guild of America), the WGA (Writers Guild of America), Compact Collections, IFTA, NALIP, and with broadcasters and producers such as Televisa, Telemundo, Venevision, Tele Azteca, as well as with all broadcasters in Spain.
