After the success of the 2009 and 2010 TAREULA seminars, EGEDA has now opened the registration period for the third edition of this seminar. The aim of the event is to promote cooperation between Europe and Ibero-America in the field of audiovisual production and distribution and co-production agreements, as well as to increase business opportunities.
The TAREULA III program includes an intensive seminar of three days’ duration, after which participants will have access to on-line assistance from teachers during one month, in addition to the opportunity to participate in various co-production forums.
The intensive seminar will be held at three locations: Copenhagen (Denmark), Mexico City (Mexico) and Miami (USA), and is open to European and Ibero-American producers. The course content will include, among other subjects: hiring, production and marketing for audiovisual producers, project development, commercial skills (packaging and pitching of audiovisual projects) and negotiating skills.
As part of the training program, TAREULA III will provide travel and accommodation grants for those projects from the TAREULA network which have been selected to participate in the co-production forums of the following international festivals:
The registration fee is 500 euros and candidates must have two years’ experience in the sphere of audiovisual production and submit a project, consisting of either a feature-length film or a television series. The registration deadlines for each seminar are as follows: 18 May for Copenhagen, 7 June for Mexico City and 6 October for Miami.
