Who can be a member of EGEDA?
Any producer of an audiovisual work or recording of any nationality may be a member of EGEDA, a private individual or a corporate body, an original owner or a person entitled by virtue of some of the rights that are managed, represented or defended by EGEDA.
How to apply to become a member
The documentation requested from the producers of audiovisual works and recordings covers everything necessary for the identification, accreditation and ownership of the works and recordings under consideration, with great attention to detail.
The documents you need to submit in order to join the Association are:
· Sample membership application letter. This should be printed on the letterhead stationary of the production company requesting membership.
· List of audiovisual works, whether released on the market or not, indicating the % of ownership in the case of joint ownership.
· Affidavit.
· Photocopy of ID or passport.
· Photocopy of card bearing the tax ID number, or personal ID number in the case of individual persons.

What do we do at EGEDA US for our members?
Apart from all the general activities mentioned in ACTIVITIES, EGEDA US provides services such as:
Networking and contacts: We connect Spanish producers with American and Latino producers. We established our branch in Los Angeles to provide support to professionals who are interested in being part of an LA based network of support for Spanish, Latino and American producers.
Provide information: We provide information regarding the latest news, events and regulations in the film industry in Spain and in the US. We obtain, condense, and provide information of what is happening in the US and report the same back to EGEDA in Spain, and likewise, provide such information to organizations such as the MPAA, Compact Collections, Ltd., IFTA, NALIP, etc.
Film industry events: We organize press conferences, screenings, meetings with producers and distributors, etc., according to the specific needs of our members and according to the calendar of events.
