The III - SEMINAR PROGRAM FOR PROFESSIONAL LATIN AMERICAN AND EUROPEAN FILM PRODUCERS was held in Miami from October 20-22.

TAREULA is program designed to empower young producers and their projects through unique personalized training programs. With two previous successful editions, the main objectives of TAREULA 2011 are:

▪ To offer personalised training programmes that meet the needs of audiovisual producers with practical training that improve producers’ knowledge of global market conditions, their awareness of co-production opportunities, their practical understanding of contracts and digital technologies, as well as training on commercial skills and access to individualized advise to improve and prepare each project for international exploitation.

▪ To facilitate co-productions and trade exchanges between Europe and Latin America by providing year-round networking opportunities. TAREULA 2011 edition consists of virtual networking, intensive training seminars, and competitive pitching events with potential buyers at international markets.

▪ To offer a reference centre for professionals from both continents. TAREULA will offer a platform for the exchange of best-practices between European and Latin-American film professionals

▪ To open markets for European audiovisual professionals
