EGEDA US supports NALIP

June 23rd-26th, 2016

Like the previous years, EGEDA US supported the 17th annual media summit organized by the National Association Of Latino Independent Producers (NALIP). The event was hosted from June 23-26 at the Dolby Ballroom in Hollywood. Elvi Cano, executive director at EGEDA US, and Carlos Gomez, general director at EGEDA Mexico, attended the event.

The summit kicked off with the Latino Lens Showcase followed by the Latino Media Market, the Latino Lens Interactive and Creator Sessions leading to the 2016 Latino Media Awards and gala celebrating outstanding and historic achievements in Latino Media.

The largest and most prestigious annual gathering of Latinos in the media field nationwide, the annual NALIP media summit attracts top Latino content creators, industry executives and media from around the globe for four days of panels, workshops, screenings and showcases.

NALIP is a national membership organization that promotes and advocates for Latino content creators across media. NALIP was founded in 1999 by a group of Latino producers, content creators, academics and media advocates and has since then worked to advance the most underrepresented and the largest ethnic minority in the country.
